East Coast Jumbos is a 501(c)3 organization that provides positive athletic & social experiences to athletes w/ disabilities
The East Coast Jumbos is a 501(c)3 organization whose goal is to provide a positive athletic and social experience for athletes with Autism and other developmental disabilities who wish to participate in the great sport of ice hockey.
Starting in 2007 with only five players, the team now has over 50 athletes ranging in age from seven through adulthood, all ages are welcome. The team is not focused only on hockey, but hopes to help participants grow and learn, build their confidence, increase communication skills and develop and maintain relationships both inside and outside the hockey environment.

Shout out to former Jumbos Coach, Steve Simoes, who was inducted into the Mass Baseball Hall of fame last night. In honor of you, we did one of my favorite drills that I learned from you in baseball and converted into Ice hockey. Best Coach ever!!!
Congrats to long time Jumbos helper,
